Who can become a member?

New York City residents (age 18 and older) with at least one of the following diagnoses:

  • Major Depressive Disorder
  • Bipolar Disorder
  • Schizophrenia
  • Schizoaffective Disorder.

How do I join?

The first step is to visit the Clubhouse and take a tour. If you decide to become a member, there is a simple enrollment process. We require the following documentation: a psychiatric evaluation, psychosocial assessment, and annual physical. It’s that easy! You can begin to enjoy and benefit from your Clubhouse membership immediately.

What is the cost?

The Clubhouse program is fully funded by the City and State Departments of Mental Health. There is no out of pocket cost to our members.

How often may I come to the Clubhouse?

Membership is voluntary and lifelong.

How often you come to the Clubhouse is up to you. Some members come every day; many attend a few times per week; while others only on weekends, evenings, and holidays. For members who work or are in school our evening and weekend program is a great way to stay connected to the Clubhouse and see friends. Members can be absent for any length of time and still be able to return.
